Be rich to be helpful, be rich to be kind
Or you can be rich for yourself - I don’t mind
But don’t you just think that it’s better to be
A little more kind? (Well, it seems so to me)

So in all your getting, remember to share
With others who need it, with kindness and care
Then those that you help can help others too
This world will be kinder. It started with you!

And kindness can be just a word or a gift
A thought or idea, that can give one a lift
You can act kindly now, and starting today
You’ll see what you give always flows back your way

For kindness and riches - they go hand in hand
Flowing together in a beautiful strand
It all starts today with a change in your heart
For kindness and riches, you just have to start
